Spring time in Melbourne is awesome! Warm weather, half-naked girls frolicking in the sunshine, parties, street fiestas and music festivals!

So to keep you Mooks in touch with up-coming events, I thought I’d hand pick five activities over the next five weeks that should check out…

The Johnston Street Hispanic Fiesta, November 21st & 22nd, 2009.

Inspired by the commemoration of one thousand years of the Spanish Language, the Hispanic Festival or Fiesta de la Hispanidad, showcases the culture, heritage and traditions of Spanish speaking nations.

And to celebrate basically everyone dances, sings and gets completely blasted at a bohemian style street party in Fitzroy. The fiesta includes a feast of spanish cuisine, funky Latin grooves on Saturday night, then the famous street performers’ parade on Sunday.
