East End graffiti artist Cyclops, has become an ubiquitous part of London’s trendy East. It’s hard to turn a corner without being presented with his trademark one-eyed Charlie-Brown or toothy grin. But, judging by his latest exhibition of fine art light-boxes and political badges, London’s favourite graffiti artist has grown up.
Cape Town is the place to flirt with danger, get messy, have fun and cause a frenzy – XXX style. A city begging to be explored, where the mountains meet the city that meets the ocean, Cape Town is a playground for the extreme. Skating, BMX, Surfing and FMX, this is a subculture of adrenalin-junkies, defiant in their quest for unadulterated and uncompromised freedom.
One of things which made a big buzz in Tokyo this year was the mysterious appearance of a series of Sumo Wrestler Stickers. Tagged in various areas of Tokyo like youth culture hot spots Shibuya and Roppongi, and even the high-end district of Ginza, the stickers were cropping up in an assortment of sizes and designs featuring double faces of sumo wrestlers, with line eyes, different hair styles and a variety of cheek shapes.

There is a certain magnetism of the city of Berlin. People may arrive for a short visit, spending a few days straddling the saddle of a beaten-up bike, only to leave months or even years later. It seems that the diversity, complexity and unpredictable nature of the city is not only hard to leave, but hard to describe.
