A cartoonist as well as artist, Yuichi Yokoyama’s solo exhibition “All Documentation on Neo Manga: I’m Drawing the Time” is now exhibited at Kawasaki City Museum in Japan.

I didn’t have any ideas what kind of man “Yuichi Yokoyama” was until I interviewed him. His works show us unforgettable views, a silence world, and it’s almost like a piece of just moment. And one of the special features of his manga is his use of onomatopoeia. His works are very different from other Japanese manga. But everyone knows we all are fascinated by his works.

If you’re looking for something inspirational, you might want to check out the newly released book, GENGA, by Hiraku Suzuki. The book contains exactly 1000 illustrations dedicated to language and the galaxy. Inspired by every aspect in his immediate environment, GENGA is a dictionary-sized microcosm made out of numerous signals that communicate times between present and future.

In a city where the trendies trend, the skankers skank and the posers pose, there are still a few individuals that are trying not to give a f**k and just do their own thing.

Two such kids are Shaun Gardener and Jason de Villiers, the visual vagabonds behind Fly School Design. Elusively extravagant and humble hearted, they’re keeping it real and keeping it local. Pushing each other, they share a mutual unwillingness to make money for other people.

Longer days, sun-kissed skin and cold beers, Summer is a feeling. And like the Calling all Creative’s exhibitions, it’s a feeling that keeps building momentum.

September saw the arrival of the 4th Calling All Creative’s exhibition, a concept given life back in June this year. CAC’s is for the people, by the people. Serena Julia Boon, the happy creative who founded the exhibitions, is also the Creative Director of A Happy Place Creationhttp://www.ahappyplacecreation.co.za The CAC’s initiative was formed on the basis that she felt a need to express her own creative flair and push those who needed a little leverage.
